So guys, I got on the scale and I have lost five pounds :) Even with my little mess up. Im so excited!!! Im getting to my goal slowly but surely! I was so proud of myself last night, I went to the Pistons game and did not have any mixed drinks or deep fried fatty snacks. I ate subway before I went to the game and I was satisfied the whole time I was there. I saved calories and money because that stuff is so ridiculously priced. But im off to get ready for another day of work 11-5 yuck talk about stupid shift I like my 6-2 shifts :) Have a good day!

OOPS :(
So I caved. I had the biggest german chocolate brownie I could find. It was delicious and I feel horrible now. Why when I am upset do I just feel the need to eat everything in sight. It absolutely pisses me off! I need to learn self control :(

Man, does life ever just get you down and you want to drown your sorrows in a huge bowl of ice cream??? Well that is what I have been feeling like the past few days and Im trying to fight it so bad. I am SOOOO over life right now. And sorry im sure no one wants to hear me complain about my life. I know everyone has problems, but I need a way to stop the emotional eatting. Everytime I am sad, mad, or anything but happy I just constantly want to be shoving my face. Err... it's so annoying. And it is even harder when you have a person that is constantly pissing you off and making you sad in your life. How do you fight it? I want to go on a walk to relive some tension and stress and just get out of this damn house! But of course im in Michigan and its absolutely freezing out! So hopefully it warms up a little bit soon so I can get out for a little while...

Finally A Nice Day In Michigan!

So today I did fairly well with my diet. I know I can do this I just need to keep pushing myself. Its hard for me to eat healthy when I am such a foodie, I could seriously cook and eat all day I just love it. Since it was my day off of work today I was able to easily fit working out into my schedule which i was psyched about. I actually planned on working out on my wii fit that I bought but it ended up being fairly good weather and I figured I better take advantage of it while it lasts so I went on an hour long walk. I figured it would be a good way to ease myself back into working out, since I love being outdoors it wouldn't really feel like such a chore, it would just be relaxing, and it was. I love just being by myself to just think about everything in life. But it did make me realize that I am so ready for SUMMER!! even spring would be nice at this point lol. I am so sick of snow and cold. I need to think of some more enjoyable ways to work out though because I do get bored with the same old same old.
Oh and I have another recipe for the day, if you can't tell I definitely have a sweet tooth. If you are looking for a delicious low calorie cupcake this is it.
Take any cake mix and mix it with 2 egg whites and 10 ounces of any diet soda and spoon evenly into a muffin pan. Bake for about 18 minutes on 350 degrees. It makes about twelve cupcakes and they are usually around 160 calories Just look at the nutrition label on the box for the exact calorie count.
Today I made cherry chip cupcakes with diet lemon lime soda and for a real cupcake feel I put low fat cool whip on top for frosting.
They were absolutely delicious. You don't even miss all the fat in these :)

Josh Gracin Concert
Okay so I just got home from the Josh Gracin Concert with my friend Lauren. We had a great time. I needed a night out of the house with a great friend. I haven't gotten out much since I got married in October. Actually I don't get out more because I have to be up at 430 am almost everyday, not so much because of the marriage thing. Hey I guess welcome to adulthood right?!?!?!
Well for the first official day of my diet I would say I did a good job with the eatting aspect but I really did not get a chance to work out due to work and the concert. But hey that is on my agenda for tomorrow, one step at a time right?? I did try this awesome low cal cookie recipe that is a must try:
Recipe
1 1/2 cups regular oats
2/3 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup brown sugar (not packed)
1/4 cup splenda
1/4 cup light butter (softened)
1/4 cup no sugar added Applesauce
1/4 cup fat free liguid egg substitute
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and Line a baking sheet with wax paper and place 12 even mounds of dough on it. Spread with the back of your spoon to flatten out the cookie so that they cook evenly. Bake for about 10 minutes
This recipe makes 12 cookies each are 125 calories with 2.5 grams of fat a piece

Day 1
Okay so its day one of Skinny by 21. I have about ninety days to lose 20 pounds i think i can do it. I just need a little encouragement and I need to stop watching what everyone else is eating and figure, hey if they are eating it so can I. I put on weight just by looking at food. The worst part and best part of being on a diet is that I work at subway. Fairly healthy I would say, except for the fact that the cookies are so darn good and I have to stare at them for eight hours a day. Torture I would say. Put hey Im off to work and Josh Gracin concert tonight with my BFF!! So excited!

FIRST POST!!
Hey Everybody,
This is my first time ever having a blog so lets see how this goes. I am on a Journey to lose twenty pounds by my twenty first birthday. I want to look cute to go out on the town. Of Course I have to turn 21 the same day as the most gorgeous skinny friend I have lol. Never fails huh? I use to way 200 pounds as a freshman in high school and lost 60 pounds and was a steady 140 for a few years but I have recently got married and put twenty pounds back on. I have a sweet tooth I can not quit and watching my husband eat sweet after sweet and not put on a pound is just not fair. I have lost this weight once and will lose it again with a little hard work and determination. So tomorrow starts day one of my 90 day journey wish me luck! Feel free to post any healthy recipes I should try.
